In 3 vs 3, using Judgement Pebble could really help Persian Sweep some teams and be a possible favorite. Or at least make someone's "Usable Favorites" Team. I really think with some smart thinking with Nasty Plot, Speed, Ice/Electric, Hypnosis, and luck Persian can really work well in Standard 6 vs 6 play. You could switch the moves so its a Hidden Power and a Judgement Pebble but I think Judgement Pebble will be used more often.Īgain you could always just switch the types to some other 2 types you like.
This gives Persian a 100% accuracy Focus Blast (Fist Plate boosts its power to 120), and if Technician works, a 90 Base Power Special Ghost Attack. I was thinking out Possibly combinations with Persian and Judgement Pebble. If you decide not to opt for a plate Persian gets Stab off of a Normal type Judgement Pebble, making it 150, (effectively a slightly weaker Special version of Return).
I think for Stadium Mode (3 vs 3), you could try and make a team with Pokemon that know Judgement Pebble (2 Smeargle/ 2 Arcues/ 1 Smeargle and 1 Arcues) and that way you could assist a Special Attack that is 100 Base Power, (and unless it is a Normal type, you have to attach a Plate so it would then be 120 Base Power). Otherwise if you don't want Focus Sash, you can just Nasty Plot once and Sweep with Life Orb, which helps keep Persian's Special Attack strong.Īdditionally, I went to and checked out Persian's movepool, and found "Assist." Technician may boost Hidden Power Ice (I am not sure), so use that for a good boost, or use Limber if I am wrong. On the switch you Nasty Plot, and you use Nasty Plot again as they attack you because you have Focus Sash to keep you alive, and then you sweep with +4 Special Attack and a good Ice/Electric Combination. In the best case scenario, Persian uses Hypnosis first in the first turn. My plan for Focus Sash is incase my Hypnosis misses, Persian goes 2nd, or you want a 2nd Nasty Plot.
With the moveset combination Crobat wishes it could have (Hypnosis and Nasty Plot), and with High Speed, Persian seems like it could sweep as long as it gets in a Nasty Plot, or two, in before it starts dealing damage.ĭo you guys think this moveset would work in standard/Ou play?
